Let's Go Exploring
It's kind of rainy and dark outside, but there's magic out there somewhere. Antonello and I are heading for the hills around lunchtime for a day and a half of exploring. We promised that we wouldn't pick out a destination until we were in the car, our bags loaded into the trunk, headed this way or that. It's a surprise adventure and, since I'm so good at getting lost in this country, I'm sure we'll have no problem surprising ourselves :) .Here's to a good weekend of discovery and fun!

Jackie! If there's them farm animals in the hills, ye best keep an eye out for a fuggi fuggi! We just survived one this afternoon -- it seriously made my day of roaming animal encounters! ;-)

Rowena: luckily we didn't encounter a fuggi fuggi! that's happened before, but not to quite the extent it seemed to happen to you guys :)! unfortunately our trip was pretty animal-free, this time.
amanda: we were near your neck of the woods kind of, and you're right--it WAS cold! i'm freezing today back in macerata. what is this--winter or something :)? i'm not ready!!
getting lost is one of the best things to do here!
